The Los Angeles Lakers do not want to improve in any way this season after the disappointing start to the year. With some momentum behind them right now, it makes a lot of sense for the front office to keep track of possible upgrades that could carry that momentum throughout the season.

A potential upgrade is Kendrick Nunn, who will make his Lakers debut this season. The Lakers signed Nunn to a mid-taxpayer exception in the off-season and he was seen as one of the cheapest signings in the league.

While Nunn’s return appears to be promising, the Lakers could potentially improve further if they trade him in for another asset. With Malik Monk’s rise and the strong play of Talen Horton-Tucker and Austin Reaves, one could argue that the Lakers don’t need Nunn in this rotation.

If the Los Angeles Lakers believe this, they should definitely swap Kendrick Nunn.

As we did with the Talen Horton-Tucker article earlier this season, our friends at Lakers Legacy (the official Los Angeles Lakers podcast of the FanSided network) have put together and discussed several potential trading packages for Nunn.

We’ll break down those potential trading packages in this article and give our opinion. Would the Lakers make it? Would the other team do it? What would the Lakers look like after the trade? You get the point.

Let’s dive into the six possible trading packages for Kendrick Nunn.
